Welcome to Perth Bariatric Services website . We provide an efficient assessment for morbidly obese patients considering surgical options. The centre has been set up by Mr Jon Armstrong.

He is a UK and Australian trained General Surgeon with a special interest in obesity surgery. He has extensive experience in laparoscopic band surgery and laparoscopic tube gastrectomy and has been performing these procedures in Perth since 2006.

He has worked as a consultant surgeon since 2002 and operates at St.John of God Hospital Subiaco, Hollywood Private Hospital and Mercy Hospital. He also has a public appointment as a General and Endocrine surgeon at Royal Perth Hospital.
